The Department of Periodontology is one of the scientific departments in the Faculty of Dentistry. It teaches and trains students on basic and clinical courses in order to acquire the information and clinical skills necessary for dental practice. The Department of is keen to be a pioneer in the field of education and scientific research and is keen to publish outstanding scientific research in various fields of periodontology. The department is also keen on serving the community, which receives great attention through the provision of advanced treatment services to treat gingivitis and periodontitis and perform surgery as well as through educational campaigns that raise awareness in the community.
